I was born in Alberta, and moved to West Kelowna, B.C. in 1974. I began Folk Art painting in the early 1990’s until I then began working with the medium of oil in 2007.

Self taught, I worked mostly on landscapes until finally settling into animals, birds and flowers. This is where I found lay my strength and desire.

The ability to connect with my work enables me to not only create a realistic representation, but to bring life to each of my paintings.

I do commissioned works, many of which are of owners’ pets.

I have been a member of The Federation of Canadian Artists, as well the Central Okanagan Chapter of FCA since 2016.
